For the record it was a loaded question. There have been numerous reports from people using the product on track that the "lock under braking" function of the design is just that, only under braking. People have posted on RL and elsewhere about trail braking and having it locked and as soon as the got off the brakes it snapped open and behaves like any other tbd.

The result? Wags the tail on you.

Not so fast! On the contrary. Reread my post. Taking a long right hander at 70 mph, throttle steering and pinching steering wheel to reach apex before straight away = no brakes applied here. I call your post a stretch, sorry No wags for you.

Read my post again. I stated why I asked the question based on the experiences of others. At no point did I claim to be analyzing YOUR exact experience. You have taken my use of "you" in the final sentence to mean you personally when what I wrote was interchangeable with "one". It was a generic you not about you...

There is more than one way to get a 911 sideways in a corner.

Yep, read both of your posts, but still trying to decide which to respond... the one where you make it about me "You are the one who needs to slow down and work on reading comprehension a bit", but then edited?!

Or should I just reply back to the one where you failed to make a point or contribute anything of substance about WaveTrac, but rather regurgitate hersey from the interwebs.

You can reply to which ever one you prefer. The one I edited I decided was overly rude and inflammatory and changed it so as to maintain a civil discussion versus picking a fight. If you want to make an issue out of that, that choice is available to you...

Oh, and it is not hearsay when people tell you directly about their experiences and then buy an LSD to replace the Wavetrac they have decided to remove from their car.

I fail to see how admitting that I said something rude and then removed it because I thought better of it is digging a hole. Sorry to have offended you. Have a nice day.

Seems to me that if you're throttle steering, the modulation can be somewhat similar to applying the brakes. Meaning, the engine braking (very moderate) can cause the diff to react as Matt described- transition from lock to unlock.

Complete speculation on my part. Just pointing out an observation as to how the diff *could* have contributed to your drift.

Glad you're pleased with it and thumbs up to you for providing follow-up feedback like you said you would.
