Is there aBolt In Roll Bar with removable cross brace?????

Been looking at Das Sport bolt in roll bars but it appears a pain to keep taking in and out so the rear passenger area can be used when not at a DE.

Does anyone make a bolt in roll bar........that the main hoop can be left in place....but remove the diagonal and harness bar so the rear passenger area can be used?

Check Safety Devices. Mine fits very well in the car. However, I have the fixed cross brace.

Depending on what you want to do (Race, DE etc) make sure they have the correct specs. I heard that some people had problems with Safety Devices cages not passing SCCA tech.
YMMV

Safety Devices. Their stuff is expensive but they are the best IMHO. They tie into the body better and with proper weld in bolt plates.

Safety Devices Install - with removable seat back cross brace.

I thought my croos brace was a welded in piece but I am a moron today..... Too dang cold here to think straight

To get everything properly lined up you do have to put the cage in and out several times if you want a real nice fit.

I installed mine without the floor ("frame rail") plates first and marked all the holes to be drilled.

I then drilled the "rails" for the plates, set them in place and re-installed the cage. I then bolted the plates to the cage floor plates and tack welded each plate on four corners to the frame "rails".

This insured that the cage was exactly where I wanted it to be. I then removed the cage and did all the final welding. After that it was time to put the cage in for the last time and leave it.....
