I went without side graphics for a while on my widebody. The car started to look like a black bar of soap, to my eyes. I put the PORSCHE text strip on as an alternate to the Carrera script. I haven't regretted the decision.

Remember, they are slide valves, so when you lift they slam shut - FAST. Hence, the instant throttle response. We're running big injectors so a lot of fuel is flowing through that motor, so shut the air valve fast and the residual fuel goes rich, fuel hits hot headers and KaBAM you get flames. We've tuned a lot of that out, but it still barks flames. John

I hear you Jack. Your car looks amazing and the script is just right. I have a complete set of metallic silver that was the original thought. But now I second guessing myself...lol

It sounds like those tips are going supersonic when you light the afterburners.

Super sick, all the way around. But then, I'm partial to non metallic grey. I'd go with a slightly lighter shade of grey for your side script...kinda screen it in like I did. Are those 17's on there? I'm thinking of selling my Fikse's and getting some 17's, if I can ever source them anywhere for a reasonable amount of money.

John, I looked through your profile for an engine build thread, but couldn't find anything. Do you have one, maybe posted by the builder? I'm very curious..... Johan

It might be too rich for my blood at $4k. I probably would be maxing out around $2500

That is one of the best dyno videos, to date. Appears to be a very nice/amazing 911. Keep it clean. We don't need no stinking badges. regards, al

I would be interested in the wheels if they would fit a 1988 930.

I will head over to Al's tomorrow and see where they are in the process. My plan is to finish them, then put in storage. For your application, I would be willing to do a test fit as I am in Newport Beach (your neighbor). It may take some time before they are ready though, it was not a priority once I got my Zuff's.

Funny! Do you know Colin, the owner of Cantrell Motorsports? Our plan is to shake it out on his local track up your way. Now that is going to be fun!
