From the mirror, wing and flares, I guess it's one of the first Turbos, do you agree ?

Probably shot at the Daimler-Benz test track at the Stuttgart-Untertuerkheim plant. Have been around the so-called Wall Of Death several times, most memorably in a tourist bus but also in a Mercedes-Benz SSK driven by Jochen Mass.

Yes, but they were lousy. The forces were so high that it was impossible to hold up the camera, let alone keep it anything near steady!

I was once among several journalists on a Mercedes-Benz press bus. Without telling anyone what he was going to do, the driver pulled out onto the track, floored it, and went full-bore into the WoD at the end of the straight. Surprise! The bus was said to have specially reinforced suspension for this purpose...

Can't tell... It's hard to read the VIN!

Looks like a mish mash of Turbo features:
Old chrome (pre turbo) mirror
Early headlamp washers
Later 'Tea Tray' type rear spoiler - not the 'turbo carrera' wing
VERY impressive pic though
regards Ben

Considering the car is being 'pushed' into the wall due to the angle of the turn, the tires could have very little grip and the car would stick - it's all about vectors!

That said, the pic is awesome!
