Actually that color scheme could work....

Just paint the front bonnet lid red and front bumper white!
SmileWavy
:D
Just a little joke.

Seriously....
All your work looks great so far.
Keep it up and you will have a fantastic looking RSR very soon.

Good luck and cheers.

Today the weather is beautiful .......... so it's time for weld

I combined all the necessary parts for my filling of fuel.

Mess tin + cork diameter 104 + reducer 102/76 + reducer 76/50 + cut hydraulic tip which will be welded outside on the bottom of the mess tin to evacuate the water of streaming.

http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/3...0512080818.jpg

made it should look like that

http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/8...0512080907.jpg

More the joint rubber around the mess tin to make the waterproofness with the hood.

I makes you a tof when finished.

Mark020 05-12-2011 11:34 AM

Brilliant! Instead of going to the Leclerc I'll go to castorama next time I'm in France :-)

tof2.7 05-12-2011 11:48 AM

Yeah Mark, Castorama and animaland for the mess tin for big dog .

tof2.7 05-13-2011 12:18 AM

yesterday, wehad lent me the good tool ! A kind of stretchable saw-bell to make of the big diameter and I was able to make my hole in the hood Polyester.

The idea is to let level the cork but not too much to avoid that we come to stole it to me in car park. (It will oblige me to open the hood to provide petrol but it is not a problem!)

Are you saying: 'The idea is to make the gas cap stick out but not so much as to allow it to be stolen in the car park' ?

Keep up the good work!

Tim K

tof2.7 05-13-2011 06:20 AM

Yes Tim (excuses my poor english ;) )

i want the top of the cap arrived just a little bit up the hood, and so nobody (or with big difficulty) can take it.
