Bilstein question
Will Bilstein inserts fit into Boge housings on an 85 Carrera? Also, are turbo tie rods the way to go? Thanks.

Mo money = mo parts

Yes, if you get the correct part number. There is a specific insert for the Boge strut. Plus, since your car is a 1985, you need to know your date of manufacture. There was a mid-year change in 1985.
Street: If you are replacing tie rods anyhow, it's a worthwhile upgrade. They're more durable. If your tie rods are ok, you probably won't notice much difference. Track: Yes

For Street and some A/X or D.E., go with Heavy Duty's front and Sport Rears.
+3 on Turbo Tie Rods
