Throttle linkage dimension required (3.2) for ITBs

I'm putting a 3.6 with ITBs into my 3.2 Carrera and I am working on the throttle linkage.
It's damn near impossible to get at the existing linkage in the car to measure it without removing half the engine and I need an approximate dimension for the length of travel of the linkage rod at A so I can work out how long to make arm B.
I will be building in some adjustability in the length of B, so I just need an approximate number for A so I can at least get close to ideal.

So, does anyone have access to a partially dismantled 3.2 Carrera where they can measure how far this rod moves from idle to full throttle for me?
Thanks in advance.

Well, I just replaced the metal bushings for that pivot assembly, as I observed it, it is the same path of pull as on top of the THROTTLE BODY.

Would like me to measure mine in inches or metric ( MM or CM )?

Jim

Jim,
We're bi-lingual with this stuff in Aus, so inches or mm is OK.
Just need to know the length of stroke. It will be the same at the throttle body as at the linkage rod if the two arms on the crank are same length.

Please don't blame if it is wrong, but I could only measure from top at the TB. I measure the path of the arm on the cruise control cable. marked and measure twice.

Break a Leg Brother Down Under!

Thanks Jim.
It won't matter if it is a few mm out one way or the other because I will make the length of the pivot arm (B) adjustable. Your dimension gives me something to start with and I will allow for some adjustment either side of this.

The problem is that the full travel on the ITB throttle cables is only about 30mm, so I need to use a much shorter than standard arm at B. Based on your dimension, it will be close to half the length of the standard arm (or 30/61.5).

Thanks again - you saved me a bit of unnecessary dismantling.

Ok, I think this is a bit more accurate:

42.95MM Measured at the rod (5-6" long) that is held on by the circlip. This makes sense, when I serviced my assembly as shown in your pic, I recall the travel was short then top of the cruise control path.
