Fuse #19 has power then it doesn't... help?
Problem:
Fuse #19 which powers the rear right light assembly measures zero volts with ignition on. When I disconnect the bottom wire connected to the fuse, I measure the full 12.4 volts at the top screw op that fuse. I connected the bottom wire to fuse #18 ( rear left light assembly) and then all the light bulbs on the right rear work. But when I connect it back to fuse #19, the lights don't work and I get zero volts. Any clues what's going here? Marlon

You have resistance in the supply to fuse 19 >> the resistance of the bulbs. It forms a voltage divider between it and the bulbs. Clean the fuse contacts. Use your voltmeter to see where the drop occurs.

Or maybe I'm not getting it? Sorry, fairly new to this fuse thing. Marlon

Does this explain it?
Quote:
the 50 m is the wiring resistance ![]() Edit 1000 is the corrosion on the splice/fuse

Yeah, I think I understand. I'll try jumping across the fuse and see if it works then.
