ROW SC rear pads retainer and bleeder size question after 1st track day
Hi guys,
thanks for answer regardings SSI's and heat exchangers here. I am back from first track weekend and want to bleed system and then change rear pads first. Note I am missing bottom retainer pin, can I get just a single pin as replacement, don't think I want to buy the whole kit (I have both pins on the right rear, pic is of left rear) Also, I noticed my bleeder screws are 7MM-- is that normal for ROW rear for a 78SC? I thought they were 8mm standard, and mine are definitley not 8mm. Thanks guys!

My stock bleeders were 7mm as well. I changed out those for SpeedBleeders a few years ago.
I have the retaining pin you need. PM your address and I will send it out Tuesday.

Thanks Wayne!
So I assume we having ROW SC's have the "M" caliper in the rears? Only writing on mine is ATE P71" Mine is a 78 and the kit would be 911-352-951-00-M4 I am assuming. What size part number speed bleeders did you get? (I have Motive pressure bleeder, but would like to try convenience of speed bleeders at the track..) Will order them from our host. Thanks for clarifying your SC had 7mm bleeders. I thought I was nuts or had rounded/stripped bleeders, For some reason, 7mm flarenut wrenches are not terribly easy to find in a kit, can source individually, but of course are pricey that way. You have PM.

Yes, that's the SpeedBleeder part #. I believe they are 8mm.
I wasn't impressed with them, FWIW. I found the best results by doing the 2 person method. My wife is pretty good at helping with this task. Obviously, your experience may vary. Happy Independance Day!
