993 to 86 911 install parts delete question

I am ready to stick my 1995 993 engine in my 88 911 and wonder which stock 993 parts I can eliminate without confusing the ECU. Car does not have to be smoged as it is registered as a "collectible". I'd appreciate any valid input since I don't want to create problems by removing a do-hinckey or muffler bearing that the ECU wants to see.

Definitely lose the heater blower and sub a carbon fiber bypass tube for it.

theres not much too take off besides the cruise control and air pump assemblies. (as well as the air bypass tube as mentioned)

SAI & all associated plumbing
AC & bracketry(unless of course you retain AC)
belt minder if changing to RS fan pulley
most of the heat plumbing on the left side of the engine

"...rear shift valve assembly, solonoid (change over) valve installed for model year 1995..."

its a vent line for the distributor. some models have two lines with one going to the rear reflector.

It's not a vacuum line, it is the distributor vent, there is a low pressure stream of fresh air that is directed into the distributor to prolong belt life, 964 before '93 did not have it oem, partway thru '93 it became standard w/ a retrofit kit for earlier cars

As RS mentioned on 993 there is another one that vents the 993 rear center tail light unit to prevent condensation

that is referring to the solenoid used to operate the intake manifold resonance flap, as i mentioned you want to keep the vacuum canister located under the aire filter housing and the associated vacuum lines.
