Car looks great. That is a heck of a private collections. Looks like a McLaren F1 car with Porsche/TAG engine in the background? I would put the headrests on the seats; they can prevent whiplash or hitting the harness bar.

Correct sir, that is Prost's 86 F1 car. as far as the headrests go, not at this time.

Justin,
I haven't talked to you in a while and was wondering what you where up to? We'll now I know! I was going to give you a call and take you up on your offer to help with my first valve adjustment...ah, I think you've too busy for that. Maybe I'll call Christy instead, looks like she's got things under control...she probably has a better touch with the guage also! =;>

What a great car to add to the DZug Tour car collection. I stood by that car at the P-car museum for what seemed like hours (both times I went). That car is going to be a riot on the Targa route. Perfect idea (as usual). The DZug Tours are really going to be "trips of a lifetime".

My family has been relaxing at the beach this week, unfortunately we're at Topsail Island...I really wish it would have been Wrightsville instead. I'll talk to you soon.

Udo

Nice job, guys!

You captured just enough of the look where it's pretty convincing and did it on a budget. Respek!

Juice, brother - I have to say THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

Being here in Afghanistan in such a f&cked up situation is one thing, but to see my baby driven on the road again...seriously there are f*cking tears in my eyes. I just can't convey how good it is to see her driving again after the axle debacle..

The RSR looks amazing, and I agree with Trevor - you did it and it looks "right" like factory kind of "right" where its how they would have done it. Porsche didn't used to go and spend a billion $$$ on making these racers - they just put it out and got it done to the best of their ability (as evidenced by the welds on a bunch of 917's)...

DZ yet again captures the spirit and keeps the flame alive. Pics look so good!

Trev, cant thank you enough for letting us visit the Drendel collection and do the color match!!!! Without you, the colors would not have come out half as good as they did. Pete and i are gonna arrange a visit up to Hickory come by Heritage motors and show u the car and pick a pair of those bangin T-shirts.

+1

Love the pictures of you guys rolling together on the highway. What a sight that must have been for passing motorists on an otherwise boring highway drive.

I also love the shot of #6 leading the pack of GT3s. 112db is not that loud considering how good it sounds. Let me know when you decide to take it to VIR?

Speaking of VIR, DZUG should think about setting up a tent at VIR during the Heacock Gold Cup Historic Race and Car Show on November 4-6th. I think you guys will blow everyone away with all the eye candy you have assembled. I'm sure that crowd would be interested in your DZug Tours!

Gabester, hey buddy, that's what it's all about! Blackie ran great all the way to Savannah, and had it not been for the wheel issue, she would have killed it on the track. Keep doing ur thing and Pete and I will keep sorting out stuff in next month.

Some road pix for ya bro

the best part was the old man in tech when you screamed past the start finish at 7k..."I remember when all the 911's sounded like that."

you could see a spark in his eyes when he said it!
