Possible to roll rear Carrera fender lips?

So I rolled the front with the Eastwood fender roller no issues...but the rears, the lip is alot smaller and it seems will require lots of pressure...

Is it even possible to roll these? Has anyone done it?

I used a bat as well. You can get them pretty flat.

All depends on the MY, rear wheel camber and ride height. On a narrow-body (up to '76), an interfering tire may clear the lip but will instead contact an area about 2" above the wheel well opening. This is nicely identified by a half-moon burn-through of the paint.

Not sure about SC/Carrera bodies. Sorry.

I rolled mine with a bat also, but if I had it to do over I would tape it and cut the lip off with a 4" grinder, being careful not to overheat the paint. Rolling the lip cracks the paint and creates a place for crud to hide in the fold.

I used the Eastwood roller on mine. Use a heat gun to warm up the paint to reduce cracking and be patient!

Hmmm, I'm sure some here have had success, but to be honest I'd rather recommend letting a body shop. I've just seen way to many disasters and it costs more to fix it later. Thou, if you are confident in art of bat & or roller approach with caution and time.
