perhaps a little faster than I thought

Here is a pic of my cross-member support for my front suspension. I could swear I was not driving aggressively or far above the speed limit (50 mph) but here is a pick that might say differently. This came out of the bahamma blue 74 911 S I just parted out.

That will do it - that A Arm is pretty rigid - nowhere to go in an accident like that -

At least I now have these to go on the "new to me 74" in case of another similar situation.

Inspect your steering rack very carefully. Such a hard hit may have damaged it, or loosened the central nut holding the yoke to the splined shaft (under the rubber hockey puck)

Hey Dave.
it actually split it!!! Broke it apart completely. I might post some pics of that too.
