The smallest rev counter you've ever seen

I can't play with Porsches as much as I used to so I started designing & selling little things that remind me of them. I posted in the PP classifieds section and the reaction I got was overwhelming. I know few of you (myself included) venture further than the 911 technical forum, so I want to share it with you guys here.

The store is here:
Main entrance
Porsche gifts
Automotive items

8000rpm Porsche 911 rev counter. The gauge face is not a photo but vector art which took me days to get right!

I always wanted to do a Porsche mug that isn't stereotypical or corny so the rev counter above gave me an idea. I decided to do the whole dash. It means nothing to 99.9% of the population but a 911 enthusiast will immediately recognize it. The model I used was a 74 Carrera. The text reads "Air-cooled Forever" which is my own personal sentiment of course!

Recently visited the Nurburgring and was not very impressed with the stickers & magnets they had there. So I made my Nurburgring sticker. I hope you like it.

Fuchs coaster (beer mat). I also have an old chrome-type one as well as a 356 Speedster rim & hubcap. You will find it there, just search for it.

I took this photo at a vintage Bugatti day, long ago. Can't remember what car it was but to me this pressure gauge looked like pure art. They did the design by hand in those days as you will see from the lettering. And now I can enjoy it every day as a magnet on my fridge.

I really hope you like this and I am looking forward to getting feedback.

Very nice!!!

Some feedback....I have bought Zazzle T-shirts before and they look great when you initially buy them and after the first wash they look awful. Not what you expect for a T-shirt that costs almost $30, for this reason I am hesitant to ever buy any more T-shirts from them.

The tachs or Fuchs in a cuff link would be sweet too.

Sorry to hijack the thread... but look here for a Fuchs cufflink (available in stainless steel also):

Slow&Rusty, thanks for the feedback. I know Zazzle had problems in the past especially with dark shirts but I've been told that they changed their printing process since.

Those little Fuchs are real sweet. I can't wait for 3d printers to become better/cheaper so that I can print myself a GT3!

I've seen a smaller rev counter, and this one actually works! :

GaryR, Wayne is aware of it.

Flieger, it is a brilliant 312 model. Immense attention to detail!

I added this 356 rev counter (on a key chain in this photo). It kept me busy for a while - it is much harder to do a 356 gauge than a 911 one because of all the extra detail & chrome. By the way, it isn't real chrome you see but part of my drawing.

Yeah, probably off topic but I wanted to show the guys here what I've been up to, other than just building & repairing Porsches over the years.
