911SC. Which is the factory ride height?

Dear all,

I think I have the car to high and I want to low it according to the factory heights.
I have a 1981 911SC Europe model (I think USA 911s were riding higher than Europeans, isnīt it?)

I would like to know the ride heights for the European SC. Somebody has the data?

Ride height is from the ground to the center of the wheel arch. Isnīt it?

Regards

The factory measures and specs ride height from the axle center to the torsion bar center

for an '81 RoW SC the specs are
front 108+/-5mm wheel ctr is above t-bar ctr so 103mm is factory min

rear 16+/-5mm t-bar ctr is above wheel ctr. so 11mm is factory min

most prefer the cars to be somewhat lower than that though

After corner balance, don't forget alignment, front and rear.

According to my "Porsche 911 Performance Handbook" it states that the European ride hight is approximately 25" from the ground to the rear fender lip. The front should have a slight nose-down attitude (approximately 1 degree slope) which will result in a measurement about .5" higher at the front fender lip or 25.5".

Which has nothing to do with factory settings since that is not the correct way to measure ride height. You can't go wrong if you do it by the book, the one the factory wrote.
