Caliper Rebuilding Question!
Rebuiliding Boxster Calipers (for 911 upgrade) after powder coat etc. All new hard lines and brass fittings ordered from Pelican.
(see pic along with other parts of beauty from Pelican/ERP for a complete front end rebuild winter project!) Do you use loctite on all these fittings when re-assembling? does it matter if red/blue stuff? how about on the brass washer for the banjo lines ? thanks very much Frank ![]() |

I'm almost certain nothing in this job requires Lock-Tite. (Red requires heat to remove, or blue requires a wrench) Those brass washers are the gaskets and require nothing but proper torquing of the fittings.

No loctite is the correct answer. If you are anal about sealing, you could put a very small dab of Curil-T on the threads, but you don't need it and you don't want to get it in the fluid.
