Hmm...tires that fat are pretty $$$. Could give you more tire options for the money. Are four 225's cheaper than 2 xxxx meats? Would need some serious HP to back up that much contact patch...and I don't see a turbo under there. Would love to see the wheels and how they were joined.

I only took the four pictures. Here's the other two. When this thing was done it must have cost a fortune. The quality of fiberglass work and other detail is very high. I'm sure this was somebody's baby.

It's as if a 80's gemballa avalanche and a DP 935 and a chevy dually had a three way and a love child was born

Solves the problem of finding wide enough 15 or 16" rubber too...

Me too. You can still drive the car with two flat tires & I wonder if there would be any effect with mixing inner/outer with two different types of tires, say....rain & dry/summers?

The owner was certainly pushing the envelope with that drive train. Perhaps an advantage is increased tire patch contact along with negative camber, but offset by the increased unsprung weight of 4 drive wheels.

Here I am in the Tyrell P34 at Monaco:

The rear bumper pads look ridiculously tiny for an American 911! Even the usual ones would look small on that big arsed freak of nature!

That could be an older Gemballa or Koenigs Special 930

And I wonder what a tire change in the pit would be like.

I remember seeing a b&b bodied 911 in the late eighties with dually wheels on the rear.
