If your brakes aren't spongy, you're fine.

I usually change oil and filter, check brake-pads, rotors and fluid and adjust tire pressure for street use. I do the valve adjustment once a season, unless something suspicious.

Wayne,

How long since you changed gear oil?

What do your valves sound like today?

More than likely, no problem with a drive ... today, or any other day!

Hi. I pulled the plugs to get an engine condition. And damn the spark plug boots sliped off 2 and 5 and the spark plugs had a little oil on them.I cleaned them up put the air boots on correctly and fired it up.. It sounds great no smoke seems ok. I readjusted tire pressure Gear lube has about 2k on it brakes,Well they worked good when I pulled into the garage..The Track day was cool at PIR in Portland except for those peesky 2001 Corvettes and a Viper in my intermidate class got spanked real good Those tires on those cars are two feet wide!! allmost.. All I could do was go into the corners deeper and brake harder. And have balls on the strights full out to 130 or so, that would lose about 10% but the other 90% made me drop back to novice for the last session.. Oh well I only have 2.5 hours of track time I will get there..
