Wow. We just got back, and I'm beat. Mike Marshall got 2nd in Unlimited Three, and Tyson and I got 2nd in Touring Three. We took some hits the last day when our transponder died (in spite of our requests to get it recharged) and we blew the checkered (and red) flags, and got penalized a session (the last one where we had a chance to take first). The net result was we didn't get any times for the last two sessions -- losing our chance at first place.

But we're happy with second place, and also with our "Big Dog at the Big Track" award for having the best (in class) time on the big track at Willow Springs. It was a 1:35 with my rear axle making a sound like a pneumatic hammer in my rear wheelwell.

But I'll do up a full, new posting with some pictures in a couple of hours.

It was a blast, though. The car held up beautifully, and Tyson and I each won on different tracks (three track wins, with two others jeopardized by mechanical problems and two lost fair and square -- mostly), making it a great time and a well balanced team effort.
