Is that a "BRAID" watermark at the lip of the wheel on your picture or are you stamping the wheel with a blue BRAID on them?

Missed this sorry. It's a small vinyl sticker we applied. We wanted it for the pictures and display otherwise there's nothing on the wheel to say who made it and they look so good we didn't want people to think it was a real one. It will peel right off.

I haven't been very "BZ" test fitting this prototype on various vehicles lately due to recent hip surgery but here's a higher res shot of the 930 test fit we did. Enjoy.

So a 17 inch CAST aluminum wheel that weighs almost HALF of what a forged real Fuch in 16 inch weighs? I don't believe it and certainly have no idea what it is doing here in Braids thread.

They look really good! Can you tell me how the RSR finish is achieved? Is it a coating like paint or is the substrate blasted or otherwise mechanically altered to create the look.

Are your wheels forged like the originals? Or some type casting?

My vote is that we all just report the spammer.

All the silver accents on our BZ range, outer rim and/or petals is anodized. This is not just the regular anodizing but the "soft" style of anodizing used on the original wheels. It is not easy to achieve but ours is very "original looking". I don't have a 17 RSR pics yet but here's some 15" and 16" for your viewing pleasure:

Thanks FT. I agree, they do look close in the photos but in reality they did not look as if they would rub.

I was released by my Physical Therapist for "Light lifting" yesterday which to me meant "Test Fit". I went straight round to my friend's with the 930 and snagged our 17" BZ prototype back and slapped in on a 89 944 Turbo S that was in the shop. As with all of these test fits we are just verifying brake caliper clearance. The prototype is an 17x11, ET0 meant for a 930 or M491 so tire clearance etc. is not valid for most vehicles we intend testing it on. Anyway. It fit easily with about 12mm of caliper clearance as you can see.
