Wheel size/ backspace/ offset

I have an 81 sc with stock flares running 15x7 front and 15x8 rear fuchs. I want to get a set of track wheels- 15x8 on all 4 corners (preferably minilite/ superlite/ panasport/ tre style w/ hoosier R6's).

I'm hoping you guys have some ideas about the appropriate backspacing/ offset (fenders not rolled and I would prefer not to)

thanks!

There's someone selling a set of four 15x8 Fuchs for your application in the classifieds, maybe you should contact him and get the info.Looks like a good deal as well for a beautiful set of refinished wheels ...

Cheers !

I don't know about 15" wheels specifically, but I've run 8x16s in the front for a long time. The 16s need about 5.75" of backspacing to fit.

One data point...

For and SC/Carrera body car 8" fronts want ET25-30, the lower the ET the more the wheel sticks out and the more lip issues there will be, the higher the ET the more the wheel sits in board and the more issues there will be there.

ET a little higher or lower cause increasingly more issues

No matter what this is a very tight fit and using the shortest possible tires w/ aggressive alignment will help.

I have tried multiple times to run 8 fronts, no luck with SC flares
