We are currently installing Al's ITB/efi system on a 2.7rs engine. I will post updates to issues we are having with install. It is being installed by a professional race shop in Denver, so these guys have a good grasp with correct wiring, fuel lines, etc.

Thanks for responding Al (and others). I never meant to insinuate that you were avoiding my e-mail, but thought it odd you never responded. That said, I was looking for plug and play, but understand that this system may give me an opportunity to educate myself on EFI systems. There is no doubt that I will have a more tunable and therefore driveable car. I am isolated in a small town, but probably could find someone in the Houston area that can help tune with a Dyno. Would be fun.

EFI MFI Gasser 001 - YouTube

I think that educating yourself about EFI systems is the way to go. As a dedicated DIY guy, I continue to learn by doing. Over the holidays, i spent some time working on a way different configuration of a retro/mod EFI system. This utilizes MFI throttle bodies with tall Weber stacks, mounted on Turbo spacers that are machined for EFI injectors. My proto uses Ford EDIS ignition. Megasquirt controls fuel and ignition. I wired this up, this weekend, and using the start up file for my last 2.7 kit....it fired right up. Still needs fine tuning and intake balancing, etc............fun stuff!

regards,
al

I'm aware this is an old thread but I would like to know if there has been any progress on the kit sans ecu?

I really wish Al had gone this route, but as far as I know he has sold distribution rights and it is only available as a complete kit here:

Ok, maybe I can convince them to sell a partial kit, worth a shot anyway.
