I-5 Help
I have to drive the Relic from Los Angeles to Modesto Friday to attend a funeral. The Relic has not been, in the past, wonderfully reliable. So, just in case, here are my questions:
Should the freakin' thing die, yet again, where should I have it towed in.... Bakersfield? Modesto? Taking oil, tools, AAA card, cellfone. The essentials. I know, I'm an idiot. -JFT

I haven't had to stop on I-5 so I can't give advice. But I just want to say that the last time I drove on I-5, it was a blast to just go fast, along with everyone else. Nothing at all like 99.
If your car is likely to have a breakdown, it might be better to switch to 99 after the grapevine as 99 is much more populated and I-5 is in the middle of nowhere. 99 goes right thru the middle of Modesto. Vern |

There is a 7 day wait on the tow upgrade.
