Met with a fellow Pelicanite for a beer and it was really good to chat Porscheque for a little while. My God isn't ownership of these fine vehicles such an overwhelming and totally engrossing experience? On my way over to the Governors Bay Hotel, I saw the most gorgeous Cherry Red 356 Coupe. It was absolutely stunning and made my smile all the wider. The driver waved back as I passed him.

Cheers,
Neil

FINALLY got the Historic registration plates on my car! It has only taken 4 months and about a thousand pieces of paper work, stamps, signatures and inspections!

Brilliant Christmas present! (Except for the rain)

Hope you all enjoy the festive period.
Cheers,
Jason.

Awesome Jason! I'm sure it was a long wait but it's now over, may you have a great Christmas yourself and a "frohe Feiertage"!

Wow Jason!
My historic plate took about 3 hours.
1.5 hour drive roundtrip to DMV, lunch and 10 minutes in line.
Also had to write a check for $9.75 for a life time license plate!

Hey Bob, that is Arkansas, USA talking. In Cologne, Jason is lucky they have not binned his 911 for age restrictions!

Merry Christmas to all!

Kids are out of school for winter break so we took the SC shopping to get a Christmas gift for my wife. I think this is latest in the year that I have driven the 911.

Installed the cat delete pipe I built!

New O2 sensor while I was in there.

And the nasty chunk it replaced. See all the penetrating oil on the old cat?
It did zip! I broke more of the original hardware than I was able to spin off.

Used it to drop off my water bill...always have loved the different "excuses" we use to drive 'em. At least the water company is good for something!

Dude, you are an artist with a welder if you did that!

Oh! and I added fuel stabilizer to my car and let it warm up for about 15 minutes before pulling it back into its winter napping spot

Ooohhh.... Got any pics? That's next up on my todo list. Did you have to reset the rear trailing arms?

Nothing today given the holiday but we are supposed to have dry weather with temps in the mid 40s over the weekend..

Gas prices are cheap as well. I plan to drive the SC as much as I can.
