Funny, what memories that shot has for me. I had the same radio in my vw.

took the day off from work and picked my 2-year old up from pre-school in the 911. it really stood out in the parking lot amongst the sea of minivans. he had a blast driving home with the windows down.

Performed the monthly ritual of loading it up on the trailer for a RallyCross.

Hope to perform the other monthly ritual of bringing home 1st and 2nd place trophies tomorrow

Replaced brake lines(hard and soft) then when I finally had the mess cleaned up, took a short drive to test my work and put some heat in the system. After getting home, I bled the system again and am ready now for a road trip to the Dragon tomorrow. Hopefully, the Park being closed will keep the crowd down.

Club Lotus NW invited a number of other car clubs to come on their Fall drive with them today. Despite them extending the invite to many clubs, the only non-Lotus cars to show were... Porsches! Six Lotuses (4 modern, one each Elan and Europa), and four Porsches (my 3.2 and three 912's) on a quick trip through the back roads West of Eugene. Good times!

What did I do to my car today? I stopped by my indy's shop today and watched my car's brake lights and turn signals operate for the first time in almost a year.

Hopefully I'll get to actually drive it for the first time in nearly a year by the end of this coming week.

Several projects

I flow tested my fuel injectors using baby bottles (got idea from this forum) and everything checked out OK. Had some time left over so I installed a 3rd Brake Light I bought off Amazon for $9. Easy project, but took a while.

Tuned and timed my 83 to meet the needs of the MSD 6 AL-2. Factory is 5 BDC, found the sweet spot with the MSD to be 12 BDC. Great cruise after the tune.
