Installed my Carmagic LED's for my dash instruments and also an LED for the Dome and rear engine compartment light.
Sure makes an amazing difference. ![]()

Disconnected the battery, put her up on jack stands, put a bottle of 'Stabil' in the tank and covered her with the car cover for the winter.

Yes on the fuel regulator, nowhere else. That was done by the PO. Should I remove it?

Third wheel was a spare..watched this car for a month . She said other people wanted just the seats so she wouldn't sell them ,had to take the whole car..no problem. Ended up getting the seats for $400.. after selling th car..

Me too. No salt on the roads in Oregon, no excuse for imprisoning that poor car all winter.

I've thought of that too. Problem is some RV parks I stay at don't have drive-thru spots just back in spots. Also I always take my Kayak to paddle around on the Colorado or a lake. Soo I just button the 3 cars (911, Classic Mini, Hemi/Vette) up in the garage and play golf, paddle around/hike with my dog for three months.

WHY NOT drive it to AZ!?
Here in CT I'm praying for a solid day of rain tog et the garbage off the roads and keep driving my girl. They don't sand anymore, just salt so it washes away with a good day of steady rain ![]()

My 911 is a 1972. Just went over 242,000 miles this summer. 15 or so years ago when I lived in Florida I had to replace the floor pan in the frunk due to rust so I don't drive her in the rain anymore.

...gazed forlornly upon the bane of my existence, un-installed torsion bars and spring plates. Two failed attempts and utter frustration to the point of abandonment. The single last line of my part of the build sheet not lined off.
I cannot get the spring plate close enough to grab a thread with the spring plate bolts and I'm afraid to get longer bolts for the purpose of pulling the plate on forcibly. If I were to force it on with longer bolts, can I damage something? ![]()

Can’t tell from that pic, are the torsion bars sitting too proud? Same issue both sides? New torsion bars (correct ones)?
I wouldn’t force anything, it should all go together. Todd

Took off rear bumper, removed bumperettes, repaired holes, sand primed re-painted, polished and then re-installed, fixing fixed dpo trim install errors, added new license LEDSs and re wired...not a bad afternoon.

The last thing I did was assemble the parts of the throttle bodies, linkage, injection lines and get them blessed by Storz for initial accuracy. Intake parts and pulley plating by Tru-6; fan and housing plating by Mark Motshagen, all to concourse OEM specs. ![]() ![]() ![]()
