Argh! SuperGlue spill on dashboard top - how to remove?

Left the tube on the vinyl dash of my SC, went off, back to find a slug trail of SuperGlue on top of my dash.

Any method to remove this? Maybe a SCWDP sticker? Could use your help here...

May try Goof-off, the stuff is amazing. But try in a hidden area first to make sure it won't fade your dash.

Hobby stores sell a super glue de-bonder, might help, but...
I did a google search on "how to remove super glue from vinyl" and got several methods and some said don't use the debonder since it will damage the vinyl.

Do a Google search for Super Glue remover. Lots of products!

Alright dont laugh, but when I glued my fingers together I used fingernail polish remover. I was told that is about the only thing that will work right. Again it was my fingers not a P car dash!

Acetone (the main ingredient in nail polish remover) works great. It should not damage the vinyl but will remove shine if you have an product on there.

Acetone will quickly dissolve cyanoacrylate (superglue) adhesives.

Read up on this product, sounds like a lot safer and better product than plain acetone!
No experience, but sounds like a good product

Okay, I resolved the issue with great results!

First, the dash was treated with McGuiars or similar, and so did not provide a good base for the glue as it turns out. Thanks to the sub-freezing weather, the glue was a hard mass, so I carefully took a fresh Xacto knife blade and began carving the high sections. Suddenly, the knife found the point between the dash and glue, and basically peeled it right off!!

For future reference, turn a can of compressed air upside down and spray the area to freeze it completely. Then, carve in at the highest point of the mass and see if you cannot begin peeling the glue off.

I had tried Acetone - that really screwed up the finish of the dash though, with that whiteish appearance of wear.
