Question help with removing heads!

So I've had my engine out since last weekend, now I'm just doing some disassembly. I'm stuck now trying to pull off the heads. Is there any secret to getting the oil return tubes to let go? I've been pulling and rocking the heads - they're mighty loose except for those tubes - but they won't come. I'm worried that all my jiggling around is going to make metal flakes. Tips appreciated!

Thanks,

No special tips. Just pull hard.

The original factory tubes just press in and seal with Viton O rings. Just pull hard straight out.

One thing also to add WD40 or some other "loosener" and then twist (or roll) the tubes with your hand. Then just pull them away.
