G50 to 3.0 eng stud problem

I’m trying to bolt a G50 transmission to a 3.0 engine, just stabbed the trans to the engine and guess what? The stubs from the eng. are to short!!! Can you remove/ replace these studs? What’s the process?

Yes, you can remove the studs. Simply double or triple nut the ends of the studs. Remove with a wrench. Sometimes they are stuck, but this trick usually works.
