I need help identifying a 964 axle

Hey guys I borrowed a 964 axle from a buddy of mine to have some custom axles made. I forgot to double check the PN to make sure they were for a 1991 964 NA model with a 5 speed. The shop that has them only found PN 964-332-032-05 on them. I need some help if anyone knows how to identify them! I already shipped them off so it makes the situation even more frustrating lol

Thanks a ton!

Double check with the shop that the part number is correct. I can find NO 964 axles that have a part number 032 in the third series of the 11 digit part number

From what I can gather, the 2wd 5 speed part number for 1991 should be 964-332-024-08. A search for the part number they gave you comes up no such thing. As in, no such part number for ANY 964..........

Pretty sure they are finding that part number on the cv. Do you know where the part number for the axle assembly would be?

Good point about the CV part number. But that's not it either. C2 CV part no. is 911.332.030.01

part number on the axle assembly itself is usually a decal on the shaft. Obviously those don't last forever......... sorry.

Thanks for your help! Ya the decal is long gone. I am 99% sure it is the correct axle, but I dont want to make a mistake when I am having custom 300m units made lol
