Ah crap........... it looks like the part search I did turned up the 90mm CV torque washer.

TORQUE DISTRIBUTION WASHER : Vwbugworld, World Of Vintage Volkswagen

I looked in my parts boxes and found the spare dozen I have and they are the 87-5081-0 part number which is the correct M8 washer for 100mm CV

PM me your address and i'll put them in the mail for you tomorrow morning via priority mail. No charge whatsoever, since I steered you wrong. I can also send you a good used CV. Not perfect but suitable for your temporary needs. Slight grooving in the big outer race but no pitting. No pitting or grooving on the inner race. Balls in good shape. They fall out of the cage easily (gotta fully grease for installation) but the joint moves freely no problem.

No problem. I'll get the parts to the post office first thing in the AM. Sorry again for the incorrect parts lead and glad to get your a comfortable CV joint for temporary use.

I checked all the races and did a quick disassembly on it. Be sure to clean it up and pack it with some sticky grease. Man, I forgot how annoying it is to fiddle with a CV that the cage keeps dropping out the balls.

Kevin thanks,

Yeah I got three of the 4 cv's rebuilt and repacked last night. I hate dropping my balls also.
