Brake rebuilding - where to find RIBE bit
OK, sort of frustrated again. I want to rebuild the calipers from my '89, I know PMB does an awesome job but I do like fiddling on my own, plus there is a really good plater where I live....
Anyway, I ordered a set of RIBE bits from our host, they told me after a bit of a wait that they could not get them. So off looking... Went to a few FLAP's, checked out Snap On, and no one seems to carry RIBE bits. I read over a number of threads on this forum and there seems to be contradictory advice as to whether you can use XZN or triple square bits... Web searches seem to be contradictory and offer up Torx choices which I gather is definitely wrong. So, anyone know for sure what I should be asking for and/or where I can source the appropriate RIBE bits - or at least the bits I need to disassemble my calipers? Thanks Dennis |

From Goggle search, MAC has a 24-PC. Ribe Power Bit Set (SXVBR24B), $80.99. I think you can find Ribe bits of any quality on goggle.

Contact Eric at PMB Performance. He has the bits, rebuild kits and other caliper related stuff.

+1 for Eric with PMB Performance. I got a couple from him and an impact kit from MAC tool.

I bought this set in the UK last time I was there. I bought a few tools actually. My wife loves it when our suitcases are overweight. Anyway, you may be able to mail order these.
