Worst 911 Color?

Carrera 3.2 Casis Red (rose metallic), 964/993 Teal metallic and the 993 purple (Vesuvius?) are my least favorite.

Guards Red seems to be a polarizing color. Not my first choice and I never thought I would own one, but I've owned three based on condition and I've come to accept that it's the classic 80's color.

Saying Guards Red is like hating Bobby Orr only because he was the best ever hockey player to lace em up!!! Really its probably the top selling color yes...no? I like it. I would not own a brown 911 but some guys here love it! Its kinda like asking who makes the best music...everybody has an opinion. (even though Led Zeppelin is the right answer )

Unlike a lot of haters, I LOVE Guards Red. It's the color I fell in love with, and the color that is iconic for me on an 80's 911. I'm honestly thrilled that the car I found which was in wonderful condition happened to be Guards Red.

I have a mediocre Guards Red respray over Continental Orange :/

Guards red is so classic that it will come back around, even if it's out of favor at this moment.

The 911 is so pretty it's tough to make it look bad with color alone. Now accessories...

Any color that my teenage son says that "only Porsche guys would get,"

Apparently that goes for crude factory modifications such as a 73RSR leather door closing straps as well ( or so he informed me)

I won't let color deter me from buying a 911; except Sepia Brown and Eggplant, err, excuse me Aubergine.

I've owned Guards Red and really liked it, Grand Prix white as well. Luke warm on the GP White. Currently have Midnight blue 993 I really like and a black 73E that needs to go back to its original Viper Green (I know it's called Emerald Green in 73', but Viper Green sounds way cooler).

I am not tech savy and a relative newbie here. There are several threads are like this one, where more like a poll, does the forum provide polling?, I think the Yahoo groups have the feature, very nice!

Gold. Awful color on any car. And I really like guards red. Looks great in the sun. If anybody wants to sell their guards red 911 for cheap because of the color pm me.
