911sc spark question

Hey everyone!
I just bought a 1980 911sc it isn't getting any spark at all from the coil. I had a extra coil at my shop so I tried that and still nothing. I also checked to see if the negative and positive side was getting power on the coil and it wasn't. My question to you guys is, is it my CDI box? I checked the harness to the CDI box and its getting power on I believe prong 15 (The top middle)

the green wire is a coaxial wire that runs from distributor to the cd box. there are lot of threads about it which can be found with a search.

the CD unit should have a hi pitched whine to it. if it does not, then it is definately bad. if it does, you have a 50/50 shot at it being good.
the trigger unit in the dist can also be bad along with the green wire fromt it to the CD.

i dont know why people wont say their location. someone might see that they are close and offer help, or the use of one of my 2 spare CD units.

Today I checked the green wire and its good. The CDI box makes no sound at all so I checked a few other things that the Bentley told me to and it is definitely the CDI box

Thanks so much for your help. It was the CDI box. Put a new one in and she fired right up
