Well car is still at the stripper.
Spoke with Chuck at Elephant about some suspension upgrades and such.
looking into the GT3 front end with coilover kit and running torsion bars in the rear.

Why not have the rear shock towers reinforced and run coil-overs all around?

I am going to reinforce the rear shock towers as well and we may go that way too.

This rebuild bill is quickly climbing and we could use the current rear TB's and shocks just change out the spring plates and be done with the rear for now.

But yes will probably do coil overs on all 4

you should stiffen the unit body while you have it all stripped down

find the thread on the Framboise (or was it Fraise?) where Dave B. (TRE Cup) did that to a 911

We are in Santa Cruz, Ca.

We will be adding some stiffeners to the chassis.
torsion tube reinforcement, front sway bar reinforcement, and rear shock tower reinforcement is what comes to mind.

Changing to Alum banana arms, New Elephant sways, triangulated strut bar, and all new poly bronze bushes

Found that thread too and am looking it over.
so far lots of cool little tricks

Got some rear quarters today from Parts Heaven up in Hayward along with a few other bits needed for the chassis.

Went down to Einmalig over the weekend to get the inner wheelhouse where the dead pedal area is.
Also got a recovered Dash with out the speaker hole, under dash leather parts (whatever they are called). and the dash trim
