First time valve adjust - Help

Well,I just started on my first valve adjustments, and oh hellll, it is taking much longer than I anticipated. I did find the 'Back-side Method" easier and accurate than the normal way. Also, I found that by taking the tin's of (five screws), you can actually insert the feeler gauge from the top (I had the car raised and looking at it from the bottom up and wheel off), to do the bottom valve.
