passenger side window issue

I'm having an issue with my passenger side window. I can hear the motor moving inside the door, but it is like the window has lost grip or something. I can manually push the window down inside the track after I have pushed on the window regulator to try and lower it. I'm not concerned with it being stuck all the way down because I can also raise the window with out any problems it just wont go down. I would appreciate some insight!
