State Farm. Been with them over 30 years. They have all my vehicles and homeowners insurance. Agreed value of $16K for my 77 Targa, stated on the policy, no restrictions. $160.00 per year, considered "historical". Leave the plates on all year with full coverage. Never had an issue with them..

My experience with Hagerty is positive. I have four cars insured with them now, and because of the "volume", it's a good deal. They never ask me to verify mileage, and some years I may even exceed their so-called limits, other years not. I am also impressed that they support so many old-car events, especially the Colorado Grand. McKeel Hagerty drives an early 911...

I switched to AAA from Hagerty. AAA was almost half the price of Hagerty, but required a one time professional appraisal that cost me $150.

I called Hagerty 3 years ago for my 85 Carrera here in San Diego. They said they would help me no problem but I could never go on a Sunday ride or a fun trip. I could only go to Porsche events and stuff like that. I kid you not! I did have them for my 356 years ago. No thanks.

I've been using Leyland West for years; the last time I shopped Hagerty turns out they didn't offer the various PIP options for lost income (Personal Injury Protection) here in NJ...

I switched to Hagerty from my standard auto policy. Their online tools were a bit misleading but once I spoke to a rep, I was reassured that I would be covered if I were to drive my car once/twice per week to the office. He stated that their primary concern is that my 911 would become a daily driver which it is not.

I am glad I found this thread. I am also thinking of going with Haggerty since at this time I don't drive in the winter. I am with progressive and would like to change. While I can live with not driving to work restriction, is it true that I cannot drive for errands during other times with Haggerty. What others or there besides Haggerty, and if anyone has experience using the insurance companies advertised in PCA Club site. Appreciate any feedback.

Grundy has taken over my three collector vehicles. 2 A/C Porsches and a SL MBZ. Hagerty was more expensive, had more restrictions and didn't seem to care about my years of Payments with no claims. Reading here seems to show most are happy without ever having tested Hagerty's follow up, service or compared prices elsewhere. I was the same until Hagerty refused to take a 996tt I purchased. That's when I switched!
Agreed values are vital, 100% quality repairs (at the shop of your choice) and, of course price, are all important. 2014 is a new ball game. Shop, compare and evaluate these companies and pick the one you are most comfortable with. I found, for me, Grundy had the best pkg.
