Is this dash missing something?

It looks like there should be at least one more stud in this dash for my 85. But I haven't been able to find a reliable picture of the rear of a dash to compare. Is there supposed to be another stud at the far end?

I was gonna say the same thing earlier, glad someone else thinks like I do, sorry but that's funny.

Sad thing is there was 88 views with no reply til you broke the ice and had the heart to say it

I think you're missing two. I had the dash pad off my 83 last winter and I remember one in the corner for sure. Should be a cooresponding hole/holes in the dash for them. probaly an easy repair. Warren

Is that a Heinrich in the pic or a Sport tank? Looking for an oversize Heinrich for my R69 now...

It's a Sport tank. I bought it for my R50, but I have yet to mount it up. I've done a lot of the legwork on it. I stripped the interior and POR15'd it, as well at got badges and petcocks for it.

Is there more than one style Heinrich tank out there for the /2? I feel like I've seen several different styles.

There definitely seems to be logical places for 2 or three more studs.

I was going to have this dash recovered with leather, so marring it up to do a repair would the too much on an issue, but it is a little disappointing that it was not disclosed before buying it.

I had mine recovered by Robert Budd of Classic 9, did a wonderful job if you are looking to source the work. Warren

The dash is on it way to him in the morning. I've had other parts done by him as well, and I agree he does great work.
