Reverse Switch Help

1983 911SC. I inadvertently must have stressed the wires going to the reverse switch during a starter removal and install. I noticed a wire dragging on the ground under my car and at first could not figure out where it went. The heavy 8" tubing around the wire helped put pressure on the end of the cable with enough force and miles to grind off the end of the wire. This is where I need help, what exactly does the end of the wires look like? I took a look at the reverse switch, it has two pins stick out of it, where I would guess the connector snap on???? Or does the pins slide into the switch? Anyone with a photo of the wire ends would be appreciated. I searched and found a post that appears to refer to the item as contact pin 91161290701. Before I order it, i wanted to make sure this was the right part. I was also thinking if the pins pull out of the switch, I would just solder the wires to the pin and be done with it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

rubber boot around male connector goes into the female ends of the switch. if no connector, check the parts manual (pet) and see if pelican has one. i think it's 911-612-907-01 but that might just be the pins

Correct rubber boot is NLA. There is a $12 914 boot that some people will use instead.
Here is a picture of the correct reverse switch pins Part #91161290701 that are $6 each and need to be soldered on the wires, and the correct style rubber boot I make for my harnesses.
If you want them for $30 PM me and I can send them out Monday.
