Innovate LM-2 RPM Input

I finally got around to fixing the RPM input to my Innovate LM-2 wideband.

As per the Innovate instructions - I installed a 50k OHM potentiometer inline with the tachometer signal.

Instructions from Innovate: www.innovatemotorsports.com/support/manual/LM2_Manual_1.3.pdf

Once I hooked it up, I twisted the pot dial and it honed in on the correct RPM. It does appear to slightly lag actual RPM's though.

I think I will figure out the resistance where it works and simply install an inline resistor in place of the potentiometer. Too easy to accidentally bump the pot to throw off the setting.

Will post a photo of the hook up tomorrow if I have the ambition.
