More editing, hope this helps. Lots of possibilities from just that first decent 3.2 image.

Are you working on producing any badges? If not. Any chance you can share the dimensions on the numbers. |

Dan, I have no plans to build these, since I have no access to a CNC milling machine, nor to a 3D printer. Mine is one of the ones Pelican used to sell, purchased from a Pelican who bought it a few years back. Either CNC or 3D printer would be a piece of cake to use to make these, depending on the material you prefer. For aluminum, the CNC mill is the ticket.
Here's some additional measurements. Take them with a small grain of salt, due to the cheap Chinese HF micrometer. Badge height - 21.40mm Width - 84.45mm Numeral height - 21.40mm, same as the badge Numeral width - 35.75mm Space between numerals - 12.95mm Period size - 6.10mm, centered between numerals Period lower edge - 1.50mm above bottom edge Badge thickness including numerals - 6.30mm Badge base thickness - 3.10mm Numerals stand 3.20mm tall on badge On the back side, mine has two small bosses with threaded holes for mounting hardware. The bosses are narrow enough to fit between the grill bars. Mine has a small, 45° chamfer around the edges of the numerals and period, as seen here: ![]()

Quick comment - I do not have badges for sale. I photoshopped those images just in hopes of giving examples that people could share with custom badge makers. Sorry for any confusion.

Ferrariguyma, I am making these badges. They are of 304 stainless steel, hand polished, with an aluminum backer plate powder coated gloss black. We offer different finishes of course, so you may choose what you like. Please email me at kyle@rebadge.com and we will get you whatever you'd like!

3.2 badge
I have a 3.2 badge which I have not installed yet since I am waiting for my tail to be painted. Since Rebadge is based in NJ, I can bring it to him so he can get an exact measurement, if he wants to. Let me know if I can further help.

Hi guys! Things are moving along, thank you all for the support! I've been making the emblems at 3.25" x .875" as per the recent requests. The most common, but not limited to, finishing has been a gloss black backer plate with polished engine designations. You are not limited to this, though; we offer several powder coat colors as well as some unique stainless finishes. I will be posting some pictures soon of the pieces we've made recently, before we ship them out.
JQ911: I would love to get together to pull some more measurements for verification, as well as some R&D on the spacing of the mesh grilles [we'll be designing and offering bolts and nuts for mounting our badges in the weeks to come]. Please email me so we can schedule a meet up and pin point the specifics that are necessary. Thank you very much! kyle@rebadge.com |

Not bad. Compared to my 3.2 emblem from the former supplier, I think the verticals need to be a bit thicker, as indicated by the red lines. The verticals should be the same width as the curl on the lower bit of the '5' or the upper and lower of the '3'.
Just my opinion. Once on the car, that's going to look pretty good as it is there. ![]()

Thanks Arne, I'll update it immediately and get all the dimensions locked down soon. Once I have all the proper dimensions for each number, it becomes a very easy drop and replace system, design-wise.

I finally had time to mount mine yesterday. Met Kyle a few weeks ago and he got some measurements on this badge. Hopefully, I'll get an extra one if its already available.

Good day gentlemen!
I want to thank you all for your support, we've received a lot of orders lately, exclusively through this thread. I know Draden has been waiting patiently through the redesigning process, and the long lead time at the machine shop, so we will be expediting the finishing and shipping as quick as possible. As I receive and finish the badges, I will be posting pictures to showcase the font for all of the different designations, as well as our designs for the old RS and Carrera badges; a special RST piece is in the works as well. This includes, but is not limited to: 2.1, 2.8, 3.0, 3.2 and 3.5. Stay tuned for more pictures, as well as a stud and nut application to replace the 3m tape, for a mechanical, and adjustable, fastening system. Thank you all again! Have a fat and happy Thanksgiving! |
