Any updates on this build? At the rate you were moving I figured you be done by now:)

I wish that had been the truth, unfortunately the engine guy is a bit hard to find and has taken way more time than is required.

that LS engine would love a new camshaft... they can make nasty numbers with cam and headers

So far the LS has only had the ecu re-flashed, put som timing in taken out the torque restrictors, 95 oktan. the thing is it cant go to well att the yearly inspection so a cam will have to wait for now.

So the saga continues....

What was progressing in to a fast build slowed down to a grinding halt.
That is what happens when your engine guy go´s missing and cant be bothered to pick up the phone.

Finally the engine got done and on Monday she gets her first start.

Oh yea, by the way .... while putting together the engine that the PO said was so good we found out the the case was no longer alined.....yea .....new engine

As luck had it ....my father just happened to have a spanking new 3.0 case lying around so now the car has a renovated engine and gearbox...

talked to my father the other day, the engine is ready ...but..unfortunately his friends pickup has broken down....
Squeezing a flat sex into the trunk of a Volvo V70 is a bad story waiting to happen, so I´ll wait for the pickup to get fixed.

However as my father has now entered the rare realm of the S and the garage only being so big, things have to move along.

Any way, the final pieces are geting put together, altho I´m sorry to say that i don´t have any pic´s ( jet). Then again how interesting is it to look at pis of a calliper renovation:) There is not much else left apart from bumper adjustment and a test run, thats when the engine shows up.
