Is there an Ignition Source at the Engine Compartment Fuse Box

I'm going to check with a volt meter but I thought I would ask (while I'm sitting at my desk waiting to get home to get back to work on the car)?

If one of the three fuses is ignition, which fuse (top, middle, or bottom) and which side is the supply side (left or right)

Also, the middle fuse appears to be fusing nothing. Can anyone tell me what each of these fuses are for?

Thanks, in advance!

Vern,

Not sure on which year I'm looking at. I assume it's your 74?

Having said that, the red should be power from the acc on your key. The blue/ yellow is either from a speed switch, or from your CDI, but it really depends on the year.

This is from a '74 but I will no longer have CDI or CIS as this is being replaced by electromotive engine management. The red box in the photo is a controller for the oxygen sensor.

I need to mount a relay that will then supply the electromotive and it needs to be connected to ignition. It would be great if I can mount it on this panel rather than under the driver seat (which is where the Electromotive computer will be).

Switched power is on the red wires to the white "T" connector that used to plug into your old CDI box.

Thanks,

I'm going to need to take a closer look when I get home since all I have here is the photo. Since I have removed the CDI, I also unplugged it's original harness but I may need to reuse part/all of it. This makes sense though....

Making progress

Red wire to Fuse S22 is the same point as the one feeding the CDI box. Has a blue yellow wire going to T2a underneath the fuse panel on the other side.

If you want the '74 factory schematics let me know. I can send you a link to my Dropbox where I have them.

I ran a heavy gauge Red Wire from the starter, to one of the unused connections on that box. I think it was the center one, it doesn't matter.
Then I connected both MSD Boxes to the other side.
