Shock but torque down help

Hi all

Could you please help me work out how I torque down the front shock tower nut as it spins as there doesn't appear to be a sensible way to hold the shock to stop it turning

Thank you

I work alone so normally count the exposed threads (try the other shock) and use a small impact wrench (3/4) to place the nut in that same position. It won't spin with the IW. I did both of mine in that way long ago.
Just did this with the ball joints yesterday...no way I could hold the tool in place and torque to 184 without putting my body into it.

+1 a shallow wide socket lodged against the spanner opening and the fender, but tae cae this may bend the fender.

I believer you can rent for FREE a spanner wrench at a FLAPS
