ac idle up switch

Hi Gang,
I have a 1976 Porsche 912E that I have installed an air conditioner on. It works fine except for one thing.......everytime the compressor kicks on, the engine rpms drop by about 200 or 300 rpm's.
I am seeking a vacuum swithc that I can wire into the compressor so that every time the compressor gets a signal to turn on, it will create a vacuum leak, therefor causing my idle speed it increase.
Does any body have any ideas on this?

Sprocks... it's normal for rpm to drop when compressor kicks in. Any specific reason you don't want to let it be?

You could put a solenoid on a vacuum line that runs from before the tb to after the tb. It would be like a mini AAR. Kind of seems like more trouble than its worth though.

When you remove the oil filler cap the RPM drops....

You need to move the throttle plate in order to raise the engine RPM

There are a few ways to raise the idle RPM's when the compressor clutch engages.
It can be an annoyance at idle, however I had a 73T 911 with carbs and it idled just fine at 550 rpms with the compressor clutch engaged (can't say it was a rocket pulling onto a highway though, lol).

What are you using for engine fuel/ignition management, Bosch L-Jetronic?

+1 on dos531 solution, that was the std way to bump the idle, it's simple if you already have ports before and after the butterfly. an idea is to use a fuel cut off solenoid from a carburetor,
but still need a needle valve to adjust the amount of air and set the idle speed. Now if you had a 3d printer you could make a custom valve holder with said provision.......
...the smaller the engine the more you need idle bump, how do I know? I put a decent a/c into my Fiat 128 wagon decades ago (with the BIG 1300, not the 1100 engine). hehe
