new web site for Performance Oriented
I just launched a revised web site that includes new information (much has been seen here before) and has the beginnings of on-line parts sales of Weber specific items. Since the parts sales section is fledgling I am starting out VERY slowly here but will add quite a large amount of goodies from standard jetting components through the specialty items I produce.
What has been released is of good content but is lacking some pictures to help provide clarity to the verbal discussions in each section; a work-in-progress. There are three sections with "place holders" that are rather lengthy and these are noted as "Pages in-development". I hope the new site is of some use for all the flat six enthusiasts! Check it out at: Performance Oriented

I'd buy a t-shirt with your logo and the car. I am far away fro needing any services but I do like the layout of you website and its ease of functionality and crisp photos.

Very easy website to use. Now saved to my favorites!
Any chance you will be picking up Zenith carb bits/services as well? We seem to stumble across forgotten/unloved Zenith carbs more often than Webers anymore. If I didn't know any better, I would think that "word was out" that triple webers have some value! ![]() angela

Hi Angela,
I've stopped working anything but Webers; Solexes, Zeniths and MFIs were distractions. Perhaps I'll come back to them but I'm pretty full up supporting the Webers and now my site will occupy my "swing shift" crew.

it was slow to load for me. tried it several times and slow. i do have an old browser.
something to consider. the links under "technical" run together. you might consider spacing them out. you might try 2 or 3 columns under technical. carbs........................parts install......................mods venturi.................... throttle bodies had to use periods. spaces would not work

i wish this was around in the 90's when i built my 914-6 with a 2.2e and webers.
the idle screw/plate adjustment was something i did not know back then and i bet a lto of people think like i did back then, that was for setting the idle. this is from your site and i remember this happening to me probably because i had the air correction jets closed all the way and used the idle screw to set basic idle: "You will find the mixture screw will not be as responsive for adjusting idle mixture strength since it controls only one of two ports delivering fuel at idle." do you have any cut away diagrams to go along with the some of the tech info. thanks for the info you put out for us. although i have CIS i love all the carb info
