project 912 resto-mod
Hi all, I am considering taking on a new project in the form of a 1969 Porsche 912. It has the original engine and transmission.
However, I was able to buy a 1987 911 3.2L engine. I would like to use this in my 912. Unfortunately, I do not have a 915 or G50 transmission yet. So for the mean time I would like to use the current one in the car. I was looking at this Clutch Kit that is on the Pelican Parts website, Part # KF192-01-M38. Will this work for my engine? If not, could anyone recommend the parts (flywheel, clutch disc, pressure plate, release bearing, etc.) I would need to use my 1987 3.2L engine with my 1969 912 transmission. Appreciate the help. Thanks. |

Looks right to me.
I wouldn't bother with a 915 or G50. They require mods to the chassis to fit (particularly the G50 with standard bellhousing) as well as giving driveshaft headaches.
