Three liter motor w 10 3 to 1 compression running a mild race cam twin plugs and 48mm ITBs.
![]() ![]() Not sure why it's not making more power? Please let me know if you can give me some help from the dyno numbers. |

I've been told detonation might be taking place.

What induction system? Did you get an AFR curve too? Not sure the mixture is set right with the roller coaster plot.
Do you have the data versus rpm?

That's a lot of cam that requires a lot of rpm to take advantage of. What else did you do to the engine? Port sizes? What ECU?
Without rpm curves and AFR data its hard to say if the fall off at the end is due to tune or airflow or rpm or something else. I assume you are looking for comments on the power level. I suspect that the engine should make more power than you see based on the type of cam and projected rpm level. I would expect upwards of 90hp/L which is a number higher than your peak. You need to give a lot more details about the build to provide anything more useful.

Thought it would make power all the way up to 7100 rpms. Limited it to that because I didn't do better rods. I'm thinking it could be exhaust or cams are off a little.

Intake port was matched to 46mm manifolds which where ported to mate to 48 mm tmw throttle bodies. The manifolds are the tall ones.

Hey crash, just some friendly advice, this is a forum and not a chat program. Do us a favor and post what you need to say in a post or two, not a bunch of one-line posts in a row.
Cross-posting the same thing in multiple forums tends to be unpopular as well. Just sayin'. ![]() All that being said I enjoyed learning about your engine testing! ![]()

Timing and fuel maps might help too. I will tell you that dip in the middle looks suspect. Did you have someone do a professional tune?

It's a professional tune. I was warned the cam timing is off.
