I had though of reversing the flow of the tool dip to cover the spoon, but attempts the reverse gravity with my other inventions didn't seem to work. Funny thing, because I remember reading a lengthy 14 page forum about similar **** that doesn't work. It's better to just dip the spoon.
No less, JUST THE TIP!

commercial room air conditioners are usually designed for 54 F @ 72 F ambient

60 degrees F A/C TEMP unfortunately is normal using R143A with stock oem
tube and fin technology condensers down here in Ft. Lauderdale where summer temps average 92F, farther north say Orlando 911 A/C temps are probably 5 degrees higher ouch

your window tint will only help a bit

your old technology a/c condensers are too small in surface area to allow proper A/C cooling in your 911!!!!!!!!!!! this is a well known early model 911 flaw and your biggest problem

my PFCs are designed for upper 30s 34-37 F AIR VENT TEMPs

Reason being a car sitting parked in sun @ 92 ambient inside cabin temp exceeds 180 F or higher i.e the moment you open the entry door sit in the drivers seat you start sweating and I want the A/C ice cold so in a shortest time in seconds as possible your no longer sweating with an ICECOLD911, then the thermostat needs to be adjusted for warmer comfort

its an amazing experience to have 30 degree vent temps cool 180 degree cabin in city blocks verses miles

lucifer572 05-07-2016 01:24 PM

TheSpoontchila is designed to operate in all ambient temperatures, from anywhere in Florida all the way up north to Canada, especially when exposed to rapid temperature drops, such as treats located in the fridge or freezer. There's also no worry of moisture condensing on the spoon since it's going in your mouth anyways. Imagine the results of ceramic tinting the spoontchilla, oh that's a good idea. Anyone want to source out some unknown parts and try that and get back to me with their testing results that won't really exist?

Send me a pm and let me when we can try this? I'm down to give it a whirl.

How much more efficient is this product than the competition?

In 5 years we have exactly one forum member who is now attempting to try this solution.

There is nothing wrong with new ideas. But ideas and producing a product are two different things.

For the sake of argument, let's say this new idea is 'better'.

'Better' is what is called a qualitative statement. I like chocolate ice cream better than strawberry ice cream.

What people are frustrated by is the lack of quantitative information.

How much more efficient is this product compared to stock?

BOTH FRONT AND REAR PFC's FIT LIKE A GLOVE INTO THE ORIGINAL 911 BODY CAVITY's !

when others have to rely on THREE HEAVY Old Technology condensers plus a lot of extra weight for extra hoses, hode fittings, blower fans, support brackets, and body modification

Plus reversing the gases innovation
Plus NO Noticeable Difference IN OIL TEMPERATURE RISE WHEN A/C IS TURNED ON
Plus smart vov replacing txv
Plus computer microprocessor control down to 1 degree +/- variation of evaporator & cabin temperatures
Plus digital led visual readout with Finger Tip push button temperature c,ontrol

TO Name ONLY A Few

And this is where your serious disconnect lies, Reid; what you show above as painfully obvious evidence of greater efficiency is no better than results that can be had with the "obsolete" technology of your competitors.

Well, with salesmanship like that, it is no wonder you don't have customers just lined up by the dozens.

Reid, I corresponded with you back in 2011. All I can say is I feel like I dodged a bullet by not dealing with you and your antics.

You really don't get it, do you?

I'm in for testing the Spoontchilla technology. Sounds like it is revolutionary and will enhance the targa driving experience!

Jonny H 05-08-2016 08:02 AM

Ok, I'll chime in here with a bit of impartial advice to the OP here. I am in the same boat as you since you are trying to promote a new product into the market. You say you are not selling it but you are promoting - whoever is reading this doesn't differentiate between sales and promotion.

First off, this is not an 'invention', it is an application of existing 'modern' technology. Just like our electronics, you are adapting modern parts (PFCs, control) to an old car. This is good but please, do not claim it is an invention. That will just irritate people. 'Reversing the gases' is also not an invention any more so than speaking backwards is an invention.

Secondly, you will always attract 'naysayers' on a public forum. The only way to deal with this is to take a deep breath, calm down and present hard evidence from test data. Have a look at our CDI+ threads and you will see we have encountered the same resistance. People have the right to question and interrogate, even throw false accusations. You can't stop that happening no matter how loud you shout. The correct way of dealing with this is to present data and facts, not speculation.

Exactly

No matter how much poo is flung at someone throwing out their idea or invention, one should never reply with negativity......you'll run everyone off.

If I ever bring something here and someone poo poos on it, I'll simply say, let the ones who have used it give their impressions. I'd never go after their character.

I remember our conversation where I gave you good advice from my perspective and experience

maybe it is you that do not get it

I Am NOT Motivated BY MONEY OR Sales in any way

I am only motivated by making a difference for early model 911's A/C Systems ICE COLD Using Only State of The Art Technology components and engineering and designs I made or invented and leave a contribution & legacy to history and the owners in the future of this wonderful Porsche early model 911;

Maybe after I am gone early model 911 owners that are left will remember me for making a contribution from my heart

Reid, I'm happy you mean well. Jonny has given you excellent advice. I have tried to give you similar advice. No doubt you believe in your ideas. There is nothing wrong with that.

What I cannot figure out is what you are doing. You seem to be making a product that you claim is revolutionary yet you seem to want to tightly control who can acquire it and under what circumstances. As Jonny said you seem to be promoting your product. Ok, so here is this product with no data made available (I guess we're just supposed to take your word?) and you don't seem to provide answers to questions that people would normally want to make an informed buying decision.

I am not trying to say you don't have a great idea. What I am saying is this. Is your solution 1% better? 10% better? 100% better? How would we anyone know? Seriously try to think about answering those questions and the tone of all this will change for the better. If I go to the store to buy shampoo and there are two sizes and the bigger one is 20% more in volume for 10% more in price, then that is a better value. The amount of shampoo in the bottle is not a mystery. It's printed on the label. As a consumer I have data about price and value and then I make a buying decision. Compare your quantitative benefit and cost. That's it. Be transparent. Provide data. Hire an ME to run an efficiency analysis comparison between stock condensers and yours. Something like that.

Tim I engineer, make, develop, design, and invent high tech cutingedge proprietary early model icecold911 A/C systems and components

The worldwide A/C business as a whole and the 911 early model A/C automotive after-market business i.e are insanely cutthroat businesses for market share to say the least!

This is a public discussion forum full of a rats-nest of eyes and hostile groups of people mixed in with my competitors

People giving advice have no idea for the most part of what the big picture ls; I shouldn't even say or show any pictures

For this and many other reasons I CANT/WONT SAY CERTAIN things and just leave people in the dark without explanation

Tim you’re nice and I know your trying to be helpful, thanks

I just talked to Giles his engine is finally back in

More DIY a/c install coming soon

KelogGes 05-08-2016 01:46 PM

YOU guys need to have a little patience as this unfolds

YOU guys need to have a little patience as this unfolds
You will be rewarded I think

lateapex911 05-08-2016 04:06 PM

Define patience, LOL.....as an outsider looking in, it's been thirteen months since the thread got started with claims of grandeur, and really, there's been no photos of a complete operating system on a 911 with pics of 40 degree (or 35, or whatever) air coming out of the ducts in front of a bank sign showing 90 ambient. Much less documentation of the rest of the system. (And, by your own statement you've been working on the system for 911s since 2011. Apparently some here know of this effort)

Now, I only point that out as a suggestion that perhaps you lay low until there's actual quantifiable progress and things like the picture described to back up the claims.

These guys are just calling you out on your claims (perfectly normal) and asking for proof, (Which is to be expected) and you keep saying "Have patience", and it doesn't take a Harry Potter seer to see what the reaction from the peanut gallery is going to be!

KelogGes 05-08-2016 04:57 PM

Define patience=you get to wait LOL

I just talked to Giles his engine is finally back in
but fuel pump discovered bad, enginee wont start have new-one until next week

lateapex911 05-08-2016 07:19 PM

Oh, I'm not really caring about the product, so, I get to wait, but those that do, and are potential clients, might prefer a different approach...but..I know, you're not investing all the time and money and effort to sell anything, it's just a hobby.
